The Program is to provide senior Asian officials with the opportunity to keep abreast of the latest academic thinking and research in macroeconomics and its relevance for policymaking. It covers fiscal, monetary, financial, and development policy. It provides participants with in-depth perspectives on many important issues affecting the region as well as the global economy. Furthermore, it gives participants the opportunity for a frank and open exchange of views and experience to identify the issues of common concern in economic policy making and discuss possible solutions.
