  • 1.What would the degree name be in English?
  • You will be awarded the "Master of International and Administrative Policy" when you complete Public Law Program or Global Governance Program, and the "Master of Public Policy" for completing Public Economics Program or Asian Public Policy Program.
  • 2.Do you offer programs which will allow me to graduate by only taking courses conducted in English?
  • We do not offer such a program, except for Asian Public Policy Program and Foreign Service Sub-Program (Global Governance Program).
  • 3.When is the time of entrance into school?
  • New students will be enrolled into school in April. New students of Asian Public Policy Program and Foreign Service Sub-Program (Global Governance Program) will be enrolled into school in September.
  • 4.Do you offer doctoral programs?
  • No. We do not offer academic programs to develop researchers, since School of International and Public Policy (IPP) is a professional graduate school and aims to train professionals who will work for public agencies, NPOs, and international organizations.
  • 5.How many times a year do you have entrance examinations?
  • We have the General Entrance Examination once a year in the autumn, and the Examinations for Mid-career Students and International Students twice a year in the spring and the autumn, as a general rule. These, however, are subject to change, so please contact the administration office for details. We have the Examination only once a year in the spring for Foreign Service Sub-Program (Global Governance).
  • 6.I would like to be an International Research Student...
  • We do not accept International Research Student at IPP.
  • 7.Do I need to contact the desired academic instructor before applying for IPP?
  • No, you don't.
  • 8.Please advise which course will enable me to graduate by only taking classes conducted in English.
