On December 11 and 12, our two new ADB-JSP scholars participated in the ADB-JSP Welcome Gathering and an exposure visit to Yamanashi Prefecture.
The welcome remarks by representatives from ADB and the Japanese government, along with the breakout sessions, group presentations and a networking dinner, provided valuable opportunities for learning and for building connection with scholars from many universities. Through the educational excursion to Yamanashi Prefecture, they also enjoyed experiencing Japanese culture.
This two-day event provided an excellent opportunity for our new ADB-JSP scholars to deepen their understanding of the program, academic networks, and gain cultural insights.
